Account and Profile
How can I manage my account information?
You can manage your essential account information like username, email, and password from the Settings page on the web, or from your Account page when using the mobile app.
How do I control what information shows on my profile?
You can choose what to share and not share on your profile from your Manage/Edit Profile page.
Can I make my photos private?
You can make your photos private at any time. We never share your photo with any third parties, and you can delete them whenever you like.
How long does it take for my profile to be approved?
Profiles are active immediately – just register and you can start exploring Cougar Life. Custom content and private photos may take up to 24 hours to be approved during peak times, weekends and holidays.
How do I delete my profile?
Choose from two options if you’d like to remove your profile: Deactivation and Full Deletion.
(a) Profile Deactivation includes:
Removal of profile from Discover search results;
Profile hidden from the site; and
Ability to restore your account via customer service within twelve (12) months.
(b) Full Profile Deletion includes:
Removal of profile from Discover search results;
Removal of profile from platform;
Removal of both sent and received messages;
Removal of messages/Winks from recipient's mailboxes;
Removal of Member history and personally identifiable information from the platform; and
Removal of photos.
To deactivate or delete your account, simply choose the Delete Profile option from Settings >> Account >> Delete or Deactivate Account.
How do I protect myself from malicious email (Phishing)?
Cougar Life will never ask for personal information via email or instant message. As with many popular websites, spammers will sometimes send fake emails posing as customer service. This is called a phishing scam and it’s how fraudsters attempt to obtain personal information. Be suspicious any time you receive:
Any email message, text, or phone call asking for personal or financial information;
Any email that requests you to click here. Hover your cursor over the link without clicking. If the URL link is legitimate, the domain name will match the company name – cougarlife.com
If the URL link doesn’t match the company name, it’s very likely a phishing email from a scammer. Hit delete or block the sender.
Reputable companies usually have a verifiable 1-800 phone number accompanying their emails. Check that the 1-800 number is legitimate through a web search, and call the company directly if you’re concerned about an email, phone call, or text that you have received.
Remember, if you receive an email from Cougar Life asking for personal information: It’s a scam. Hit delete or block. We will never ask for personal information through email or text.

What is Priority Man?
Become a Cougar Life Priority Man and your profile will appear highlighted in local Discover search results to help you stand out from the competition.
What is Priority Mail?
When you send a message to someone, you can choose to send it as Priority and it will appear highlighted at the top of the recipient's mailbox. Members using the system based on Credits can send a Priority Message for an additional Credit cost.
What is a Full Member?
Being a Full Member means having a positive Credit balance in your account. With Credits, a Member can communicate with other Members on the site by sending them custom messages, opening Collect Messages, and sending Priority Messages.
How do Credits work?
5 Credits to initiate contact with a female Member via message.
10 Credits allow you to initiate contact with a female Member via a Priority Message.
5 credits to open Collect Messages.
Once you have initiated contact, additional messages to the same Member are free!
What is automatic Private Key exchange?
Exchanging photos has never been easier. With automatic Private Key exchange enabled, Members who share their Private Photo Key with you will automatically gain access to view your private photos. Enable or disable this feature whenever you want from your Profile Options page.

How much does it cost to use Cougar Life?
For women seeking men, Cougar Life is free. Women seeking women and men seeking women or men can sign up for a free Guest Membership to check out the site — and when they are ready to start communicating, they can choose from a variety of Credit packages.
What’s included in the free membership? What’s not?
For women seeking men, full membership on Cougar Life is free. Everyone else* is welcome to sign up to view profiles, share photos, and send Winks all for free. When Guest Members are ready to start communicating with other members, they can choose from a range of Credit packages. *Men seeking women, men seeking men, and women seeking women must purchase a Credit package to enjoy full membership status on Cougar Life.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards.
How will charges appear on my billing statement?
Visit the Buy Credits or Subscribe section of your account to see how the charge will appear. Contact our Customer Service team to learn more, or you can also email us at [email protected].
How can I stop automatic billing for Credits?
Automatic billing replenishes your Credits using the last Credit package purchased when you run low so that you can be ready for any encounter. To disable this feature on a desktop computer, go to your Settings >> Account >> Purchases >> Disable top-up. How do I cancel a subscription?
If you are using the service based on Credits and have a Priority Man subscription, go to the Purchases page under your Account Settings and choose the subscription package you wish to cancel.
What is the mobile fee?
The mobile access fee only applies to those using the service based on Credits. The mobile access fee is not a mandatory charge. It is only required if you intend to use Cougar Life on your mobile device. If you are not interested in mobile access, you can remove that charge from your subtotal by clicking on the Mobile Access banner located on your Buy Credits page directly beneath the Select a Package section. Please note that you can only opt out if making a purchase via desktop web. You can’t can’t opt out if you are making purchases via our iOS/Android apps or mobile web.
